Default Floating the forks(WA) area?

can anybody suggest a intermediate float on the rivers in the forks area? I've owned a drift boat for a year now and have done the clack from fieldhiemers down, sandy at oxbow, upper deschutes, wilson. I feel pretty cofident in my abilities and would like to do a float in the forks area like the sol duc river or boggy. any info would be apreciated. thax.

cb

ps, just got back from a 2 day bank trip there. water is perfect but I could not touch a fish. looks like were in between the hatchery/native run right now. what a great area!

Check with the local sporting goods shop in Forks on the Sol Duc drifts, some stretches are technical.

You might want to visit Piscatoral Pursuits, a lot of guys over there work the west end.

I know the float from Morgans crossing to Willoughby creek or Allen Bar on the Hoh isn't too bad.

Never floated the Bogy?

Good luck and give us a report if you go.

1) Any run on the Hoh is easy.
2) Any run on the Bogie is easy.
3) The Duc, Try from the Rayonier Bridge to
Linedecker, try Wittcomdimmel to Rayonier
Bridge. I would avoid the Maxfeild, Hatchery
and Bear Springs runs until you get a taste
of it.
4) I would also avoid the Calawah, as it is the
most challanging of the four.

I will also add, Road Runner Shuttle service
(360)374-5195 Ted & Prue Miller

Good Luck in the land of giants.
