ODFW 2012 Trout Stocking Schedule
The schedule for stocking for 2010 is up now;
http://www.dfw.state.or.us/resources...ing_schedules/
Looks like they are getting a later start than last year.

Re: ODFW 2009 Trout Stocking Schedule
Thank you for posting the schedule. I was looking through it but couldn't find a stocking schedule for Diamond Lake. Maybe they forgot to add it?

They also don't show Haystack on the schedule, I was pretty sure it was last year that TKK saw the truck at haystack unloading trout but it was not on the list then either .

Re: ODFW 2009 Trout Stocking Schedule
Please remember, the schedule is not strickly adhered to. It states that on the site.
I think of it as a fish "budget" There is always more or less, and a few suprises.

Re: ODFW 2009 Trout Stocking Schedule
Yeah, stocking schedules get changed. Once in a while hatcheries probably have things come up that become more of a priority. In the spring lakes can be in-accessible due to snow, etc... Also, water temperature can affect stocking If a lake is to warm later in the summer, they can't stock it. If there is too much temperature variation between the water in the tank and the lake it can put the fish into shock and kill them, so they may have to take them back at times. Sometimes it just comes down to how busy the hatchery happens to be during a particular week. If the schedule says it will be stocked on a certain date, I just expect that it will be stocked at some point that week...

Re: ODFW 2009 Trout Stocking Schedule
I know that the schedules for the higher elevation lakes are pretty much estimates on when they'll be able to get in there. Last year, Anthony, Grande Ronde, and Fish Lake (out of Halfway) weren't able to be stocked until late June, but then again, there was a lot more snow last year over here in Eastern Oregon. There was still 2 feet or so of snow on the road into Grand Ronde the second week of June then. It's my favorite spot to fish, so I always keep a close eye on what's going on up there.

Re: ODFW 2009 Trout Stocking Schedule
Is Timothy Meadows the same as Timothy Lake off HWY 26? Saw Timothy Meadows on the stocking schedule and can't find a Timothy Lake anywhere.

Do you know if they will stock trophies in hagg lake before it opens? Dont they usually do that? I know there are large hold overs, and i have gotten giant cutthroat, but schedule says nothing about trophies in hagg this year. Anyone know anything about that?

Re: ODFW 2010 Trout Stocking Schedule
Odfw will not stock diamond lake this year because there are too many trout already. They even upped the limit to 8 fish a day to reduce the numbers.

It looks like they stocked haystack with 1000 rainbows on 4/27.

I think they only scaled back the numbers... initially there were plans to stock 200k fingerlings... they reduced it to 150k.
