Default Mixed bag on the Columbia (pics)

I went out to the Columbia with Uplanders today and what a day it was. We have had some daytime highs of 60-65 recently, so we were not sure what the day had in-store but we thought that we had better give it a shot. When we showed up to our spot we were pleasantly suprised to have some good fog...it helped our cause alot. We didn't have a fast and furious type of day but it was definatly steady. About two hours into the hunt Uplanders heard the unmistakeable sound of pintails. With seconds they were locked and comming in. Uplanders ended up knocking this beauty down and the celebration was on. I have only seen 1 pintail up this way in the last 2 years, so they are kinda rare up here. It was like Chirstmas morning, you never knew what was going to fly by. Today was definatly a good day with the sprig being the topper. Here are a few pics to go with our story...

What is the one right behind the Bull Sprig?
And the one on the far end?

I see teal, widg, sprig, a buff and a goldeneye but those other two.....I don't recognize.
Help me out w/ those.

Here's the story. They came in, i shot it, but i let him lay claim to it. Just kiddin, he shot it. There were about 6 or 7 others but he had the biggest spring, so we were actually both shooting at it but i know that he anchored it. He was pumped. We both let out a rebel yell.

Great thanks for posting there Spuntnick...LOL It was a fun day you for got to mention that you 2 more down after the pics but before the dekes were picked up...

Yep, that Sprig going on the wall.

The one on the far right is a Greater Blue bill drake in his first year plumage, he was just showing some green on his head and vermiculation to his scapulars.

Ya I know.... I really tried hard to talk my self into mounting him, but he was pretty much toast. He had a hole in his back and although we can fix allot of differnt kinds of damage he would have been marginal at best

That is the first dog I have ever seen that could sit on water. That's impressive. Can I get a pup?

Nice work guys. Looks as if you had a great day.
