Re: ALBIES in December (PICS)
Fshklr- ya that's a nice average Albi all right, kinda short fins though.
Nice to see somebodies having a Salty Dog December instead of getting a terminal case of Cabin Fever.
Looks like somebody on that boat needs to take gaffing practice though (right in the back- Ouch!). Maybe Pilar could teach him?

Re: ALBIES in December (PICS)
There is something terribly disturbing about these pictures...
How do you have fish onboard like that, yet every fisherman hasn't a drop of blood on them. Do these guys just reel them to the boat, then go inside while the fish are landed and taken care of? Ack! They're missing the second funnest part of the Albacore Connection!
tsk, tsk
Keta, what do you think about this?

Re: ALBIES in December (PICS)
Now how much fuel do you guys think it will take to run out and back in my 20 footer? I figure 10 gallons for trolling and maybe 350lbs of ice. I am pretty sure I can make the drive down to SD in a day and a half (have done that part!) on maybe 75 gallons each way. Food and hotel should be doable (I do have SOME savings) and I have the gear! Np live bait though :depressed: . Any takers????
Dave

Re: ALBIES in December (PICS)
I must get well for this stuff. Cant fight fish like that with a sore neck.
I went in for an M.R.I. yesterday ,,,low and behold,,, my doc had a big color poster of the worlds tuna on his wall. I thought it must be some sort of sign. id. painter

Re: ALBIES in December (PICS)
KJ - Thanks man... Between you and Pilar with the "way back when" post, now I've got the shakes, my vision is blurring and everytime someone walks into my office and says, "can I ask you a question?" I respond with "TUNA!" I see blood. It's everywhere. UhOh! There's no TA meeting scheduled this month!
IDP - YES. It is a sign. A sign you need to carry with you every where while you're on the mend.

Re: ALBIES in December (PICS)
Hey Mel we "regular" guys will have to bulk-up to handle a meatloaf that size. That fish and that guy only have one measurement 6'x6'!
