X-mas Fishing...Where??? Cancun, Belize?

I'll be going on a cruise down to Roatan, Cozumel, Cancun, and Belize over Christmas.
I would like to take a boat out fishing for tuna, marlin, dorado, sailfish, etc.

Anyone have ANY information as to whom to contact, Where is best for this time of year, etc? I would love to hear all of your input. Which would be most productive (catch and release) I would like to get some goo photo opportunities with these fish. Where/who should i contact?? :whazzup:

I think you really need to be on the Pacific side to chase the variety you mentioned. I would concentrate on the scuba diving or snorkeling. I have done the same trip and the diving can't be beat.

Are you going down as far as northern Costa Rica? I hear there's awesome snook fishing then, and tarpon anytime thereon.

Do a Google on 'Casa Mar'.

We're heading down in March for tarpon.

A friend of mine just took a job at a resort off the coast of Belize. It is pretty much fly fishing only.

I think it is okay to post a link to their website as there are no ifish guides for that area, to my knowledge.

Let me know if you would like the friend's name. He can probably hook you up with all sorts of info for that area. He's an awesome guide, too.

Took that trip out of Miami last month.Some of the people made arrangments through the boat for fishing in Belize.They did quite well but what to do with the fish>
