Default Sunday Morning Hunt

I had a reservation at S.I, But decided that waitting in line all night wasnt worth it, So I went to honey hole #1 for a quick hunt. This honker had more feathers coming off of him with ever shot than I have ever seen, It just didnt want to drop, As I stayed on him with the 2nd and 3rd shot as he finaly fell from the sky I missed any shots on any of the other honkers....some times plugged shotguns bite. The dog had fun with the honker, I wasnt sure who would win the battle....But the dog prevaled. I wish I had a scale to way this monster.

They are Wigeons(hen on the left, drake or Baldpate on the right).

BW, you definately made the right choice. You likely got more birds than you would have at SI. Not much shooting on the island, much like it has been for past couple weeks.
Congrats on the Hawg Honker.
