Laser sights are not legal for hunting, but red dots certainly are, just like iluminated reticle scopes. Any game is OK so long as it's not on a blackpowder rifle or a bow. There are restrictions about nothing electronic on "primitive/traditional" techniques, at least in WA, and I suspect in OR.

Legal for predators as I read the regs. They are legal on blackpowder as long as it is not during a blackpowder hunt.
