Coyote spotted in NE Bend
Just left my house around 6:45 this morning heading for work and just a block or two from the Purcell/Well Acres intersection was a coyote running down the sidewalk!! I turned the truck to try to follow him with my lights and he darted into a backyard where the gate was open.
Keep your pets inside at night if you're around that area! Too bad some Rusty-like revenge can't be taken out in this neighborhood.

I see them in Hillsboro all the time. No big deal. None of my neighbors fat old cats are missing yet. Coyotes aren't doing their jobs.

I live over by the college in Bend. See them around here all the time. Sometimes they perform nice concerts at night.

Black dog, I moved to the east side of town about a year ago, here about a week ago, I was out on our deck, and watched one running east on the north side of Hwy 20, they are looking for a easy meal.

We have a lot of coyotes around the valley.not uncommon at all.saw one running down my street one morning.go figure! lots of food around for them.regards

I'm not seeing as many here as a few years ago, but still seeing some. I've heard that USFW or ODFW has been thinning them out around Black Butte this past year. Anybody know?

My wife saw a cougar around the corner from our house inside City limites in SW Bend in February '08. I reported it to the Bend police so they would have record of it if it caused problems.

not sure about thinning coyotes at black butte i acctually havent seen many dogs there... saw a cougar and a bear on the backside two years ago, in the same night. i live in alfalfa and the coyotes wake us up almost every night...

there's been alot of coyote running around latley we had 4 chasin my shorthorn calf's last night well they ran them straight thro the fence there gettin brave thats for sure
