New Halibut/Tuna Gear
I just got my Birthday Present from my wife, an Okuma Titus 20II two speed reel, and a Cabelas salt striker in 6' 50-80 pound with aluminum reel seat, aluminum gimbal and roller stripper and tip.
Awesome. My first two speed setup. Halibut and Albacore beware!

Re: New Halibut/Tuna Gear
She's saving that for Christmas.
Just kidding, Kurt. That's a sweet deal and a very nice present. Sounds to me like she's thinking of you.
Oh, and happy birthday!
PS. We're having BBQ'd tuna loins for dinner tonight - cooked just the way you showed me. MMMmmmmmmm!

SWEEEEET!!
For some reason I thought it was your wifes birthday dinner that was keeping you from the TA meeting.
Happy Birthday!

Re: New Halibut/Tuna Gear
I am thinking I need to get a peeler on this new gear. I haven't yarded in one of those yet. Two speed has got to be the ticket to put a quick end to those guys.
Any time Ray!
