Thats to bad. With that much snow, it is hard for any animal to have to paw through and get to forage. Even the elk down here were hanging out very low during our snow event. I saw a heard of 80 hanging out on West Union Rd 3 miles east of North Plains for about a week. Did anybody else see these elk?

I did not personally see them, but they were hanging out in my grandparent's orchard. They were able to sit inside the house and just watch them for quite a while.

When i was a kid my dad used to see that herd on his way to work almost once a week. He drove over germantown road into portland from hillsboro.

We saw them once at night crossing the road. There was a HUGE bull and a bunch of raghorns in the mix.

This is 1995 ish

I went to PCC Rock Creek and from the Library (2nd story) window I could look out into the field and see the Elk just hanging out. I have not been there for a long time the library has probably moved with all of the new buildings.
