Re: Live Bait Tank
Kamloops,
I have an "Offshore" brand live tank that I took out of my Grady White after I purchased it. This is what the guys in San Diego swear by. The previous owner of my Grady used nothing but live bait. It was his opinion that the Offshore were better due to the ovalized sides, and the way they are designed keeps the water aerated much better. Very few dead bait.
I believe the one I have is an OS65-OD. This is a 65 gallon, ovalized tank, divided in two. 4 Scoop. It also has the translucent fiberglass in the bottom so lights can be mounted under it, and the bait in the tank can be seen at night, or morning.
I was planning on putting it for sale when it got closer to the season. I took it out to make more room for diving, and the boat already has 2 livewells. If you're interested let me know.
Mike
