Thanks Salty Dogs....I'm heading to Baja!!!

I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the Salty Dogs...especially;
Edsr = for taking me out on his cool home-made dory for a great day of halibut/salmon fishing
Markmc = for his tutorials in salmon and tuna fishing, especially fish-trap fishing for tuna.
Pilar = for a great day of mooching for kings and halibut (I learned a ton that day), and for all of his tutorials.
I am truely impressed with this group. Every day I spent on the ocean this summer was a better day because of the communication of this group. How awesome.
My wife and I have decided to quit our jobs and head south for the winter. We've wanted to do it for years and just decided we better do it now before we had a house or kids. We will be in Baja for about 6 months, traveling and exploring (and fishing) the whole peninsula.
Any other Salty Dogs heading down? We drive a Toyota Tundra with an Outfitter pop-up camper. We are towing a 15' Gregor with 30 hp Honda.
Hope to see you down there. I'll send updates of the trip when I get a chance.

Hey fishmstr: I hope you'll check out the East Cape area. I have been going down there for the past four years and it is the greatest

In fact, I will be there from May1-15. If you are there at that time, I'll be at the Palmas de Cortez Hotel. Ask at the front desk for Curt. Maybe we could get a boat together for a little ripping lips
