Default Hammond Crab!!!

Crabbed out of Hammond on Friday and Saturday. Friday we got 4 limits in about 2.5 hours with beautiful weather, and Saturday we got another 4 limits. Only a couple of boats out on Friday, but Saturday was a different story. Pretty windy on Saturday and real choppy. Other than that, it was nice out. Woke up this morning, and found that the wife and kids had cleaned all of the crab .

1pump, I saw a few commercial boats coming in yesterday, but I don't know when the season is over. We only had one soft shell in the whole bunch, which got set free. Almost all of them were 6" or better. We did get a lot of females toward the end of the tide. If you go, don't forget to take a hose along. They haven't turned the water on at the cleaning station yet, and you have to run a hose from the restroom to the outside.
