Default Big Ups to Mr. Strand, and Big Guns!

got a hold of my friend Eric for a last minute hunt on today (Sunday Jan. 4th) to whack some geese. He scouted this feild the day prior and was pleased with what he saw... so were we...

mind you, when he scouted the day before the sun was out, the wind was mild, and the birds were working. today, was a different story. 18 degrees, cloudy, and FOGGY! sure one might think to themself... geese and fog work well together... i agree. two of our crew had to leave early on, but Eric managed to pull a couple extra minutes out of his blind bag to fill our limits.

Thank you Eric for puttin on a show yet again. I always have a good time with you guys and your show is world class.

all honkers with a pair of lessers and a pair of mallards

final show, the big birds are big... easy 10lbers

it was just about perfect. the first set of honkers that sat in the deeks while we were standing up was neat. fun to watch em do their thing with out them noticing we were there!

hope the rest of the season presents opportunities like we had sunday, i have no doubt you will continue to bring smiles for the rest of the season and throughout your career!

snow season will be here before we know it, im going just need some dates bro.
