Assistance Needed
Hey gang,
This doesn't have a lot to do w/fishing the salt, except that it does directly affect my future mascot. I'm picking up a yellow lab puppy Saturday afternoon (6 wks old exactly) and I'm still shopping for the 'perfect' name. You're a creative bunch, so I know I'll end up with a pool of great ideas. Oh, it's a male, and comes from a string of pretty good size dogs.

Congratulations on the new dog! I have a black named Mac, and my dad has 3!
Since he is a yellow...and has a tail.. a yellow tail... Perhaps Albie. Of course, short for Albacore. I like it. :smile:
Hmm..so many good choices. Of course my next dog will be Nalu, which is "wave" in Hawaiian.
Other thoughts...
Skipjack...seems more of a black lab name though
Gale...though some feel that is more of a feminine name, I know some great men with the name.
One last thought would be Rip.

Gotta love labs. Did you see my lab the othe day on the bay. Everytime I would run back down the bay he would stand as high as he could on the bow of the boat sticking his chest out. Everyone on the bay smiled as I went by. My wife wanted to put a superman cape on him for the next trip. When we hooked fish I wasn't sure who was more excited, the dog or the person holding the rod.

Since the pup is yellow and it will always brighten up your day, Sunshine could work. Keeps with the yellow motif as well. Downside is it is not very masculine sounding.
