Default State records for ocean fish

I can find the state record for warm and cold water fish for Oregon but nothing for any of the fish from the ocean.

Are the records collected and registered with the state?

Seems we should be keeping records for all the bottom fish species, tuna, halibut ..... and yes even squid and swordfish

Did I not find them, or do we need to enter our first fish and hold a record for a short period until the next salty dog breaks it.

In most cases... those would have to be "out of state" records. 3 miles isn't very far unless you're swimming!
