Default Thanks!

Hello again,

I want to thank everyone for such a friendly welcome to your group. I'm the guy who brought in a sword rod to your meeting. I hope to bring along my wife on Nov. 7th. so she will continue to let me go out and play. That's important because with a new 15 month old little fishing man it's rough to get free for anything. Finally, I want to explain my name, "Tuna Tom". I've basically had that name for over the past 30 years. Seems I picked it up when I started banging tuna up and down the East Coast. Then I moved to Portland in 94' and told no one about my nickname and just started fishing. Darn if I don't pick up the name again. At anyrate, I guess my point is I don't feel like I am any better a fisherperson that anyone else. I just love to Fish!! and thanks again for being so open and friendly.

Hey there Tom!! Glad you could finally make it!! I think they were all beginning to wonder if I really knew you and you were a real person, or if I was just talking out of the side of my mouth.
Hey, sorry I missed you Sunday. I had many hookups and found another little 'honey hole' up there, sort of off the beaten path. Give me a call, we'll have to go hit it very soon. I might go back up there this eve with my flashlight.
Anyway, WELCOME ABOARD!!
Julie

Tuna Tom, Welcome friend. I am so looking forward to getting your buddy from Florida and yourself into more dungeness crab than you can possibly eat. The daily limit is 12 each and it is a very generous limit.

I have to work out the details of the trip yet and I have the fresh rockfish bait already, got it Sunday.

Thanks for the notes on Swordfishing, east coast style and I will type them up and post them before the weekend. Before the 'dogs start in about a story ... it is a tradition that a new ifisher tell a story, preferably involving some feat of fishing magic or something that will teach us all something.

Tell us about your first swordfish. No one here has seen one and no one has ever caught one off our shore in a sport boat.

Story, story, story, story .....

BTW, my buddy 'Puffin' says hi and you only have 5 posts to go before you have more than he does in 2 years.

Peace, Love, Fishing

Hi Tom,

It was nice meeting you. Glad to see you post up.

I've been wanting to do a crabbing trip for a couple weeks. Maybe I'll hook up with You and Pilar at Tbay.

Now...grace us with a good fish tale.

Popeye, easy now, he's just learning how to drive on the board. I know there's a story in there somewhere.
