I have them, I'm not the most accurate shooter around so I can't tell you if they're any better but I figure if there's any advantage I'll use them. Assuming that they are more consistant then I'll give you the negatives I've encountered.
1. You can knock off a FOB and nock while in the brush, the nock sliding into the shaft is what holds it on, it takes a bit to knock it off but!!
2. They seem noisy, but then I've never been in front of one coming at me so maybe it doesn't matter.
3. The FOBs are solid and trying to "intermingle" them in your quiver like fletchings is impossible. I have an eight arrow quiver but can only fit four arrows with FOBs installed, I can and sometimes do carry "spare" arrows in the quiver and FOB/nocks in a pocket. Since they just slip on it's not hard to install them but also I carry a couple of spares just in case I loose one in the brush.
4. The part of the body that slides over the arrow is only a one size fits all deal so on mine there's a gap between the FOB and shaft. ??does it matter?? I think a snug fit might be better but who knows.
5. Fall away rest with adequate clearence is reauired if you don't already have one.
I've lost a few, shot/broke some, not sure if I'll replace them or go back to fletches. Like other things I've bought, once they're gone I'll have to see if I miss them enough to replace them.
PM me your info and I'll send you a couple to try.
