Welp, it had to happen sooner of later. :depressed:

I bought my boat only days short of being exactly one year ago. I know this is hard to believe, but I had never been skunked...until today. Fished salmon all day and couldn't even get a nibbler. Wait a minute. I did catch two sculpin. Does that count?
I considered heading out over the bar for a quicky bottom fishing trip, but I knew this day would have to happen sooner or later. So I chose to let it happen today.

Tomorrow I will start a new run.

you were fishing in the wrong place mellow!! just where the channel branched at the barges about the first 20 or 30 boats through there hooked fish.... took us about 30 sec.. to hook the first one..

Yeah, it was definitely a daybreak bite. I hooked the first fish within 15 seconds letting my line out, ended up loosing it, but the wife landed a nice 20 lber about 10 minutes later. We ended up 2 for 4 on the day. I'm looking at going bobber fishing during the week this week if you're interested. Probably wednesday or so. I know lepper will be in.
