Wanted: Goose Hunt

First a little background - middle aged hunter that hasn't done any waterfowling in quite a few years. I've got enough expensive hobbies without adding another one, but I've got the itch to get a goose or two. I have passed the goose test, and am willing to drive within a couple of hours of Salem. I have all my own personal gear and can borrow a couple of layout blinds.

We have a 16' open sled, and I'm willing to trade for a salmon or sturgeon trip (once the weather improves), or can offer up some home canned TUNA! or adult beverage in trade. You have my word in advance that I'll forget where it was we went, you won't see a bunch of pictures posted, nor will I try to get access there myself. I just would like to get out and try it and am hoping someone will share a trip.

So, anyone willing to take a newbie out?

This is the best post of this type I have ever seen. Well done! I hope someone takes you on an awesome hunt- I might do it myself if I get my other goose hunting obligations done this fall. Somebody get this guy on a good hunt! Ummmmmmmmm.....canned tuuuuuuuuuunaaaaa

I have to agree! If I were still a paid member of my goose club I'd take him! I took this year off to save a little money.
