Default And you thought hunting season was over hahaha!!!

Well Hunting season is not over. I drew a Late season deer hunt for the Evans Creek Unit. (For those of you that dont know where that is it is in Southern Oregon). My tag is good for 1 deer, so hopfully it will be a nice one. I get from the 20th of this month to the 5th of January to do the best I can. So...The 1st day was pretty stinkin cold me and my ''guide'' got into about 2 feet of snow. We didnt see any deer but it sure was a different experience with the snow and everything. Im hoping i will post a report about every day/evening that wwe go huning and hopfully some pics also so i'll keep ya posted!!

Question Re: And you thought hunting season was over hahaha!!!

ya ive already made up my mind that i didnt want to cut my season short on the 1st or second day w/ a mediocre buck but i didnt wanna wait till the last day and get into desperation mode and shoot a doe either...so anywhere inbetween should be good

I lucked out and shot my four point on the first day of my youth hunt. I was not shooting anything the first day unless it was a nice buck

Took a guy out today for the late cow hunt. Saw a monster 5 x5 buck and 3 cows. Just couldn't get him on them since he is disabled.
