The local employee owned store just ran a sale on the Mossberg 500 combo for about $225. It had the standard 12 Ga receiver, black synthetic furniture and both 18" defense barrel and 28" vent rib barrel with removable chokes. I would venture a guess that, depending on age/condition/extras, the standard used tactical Mossberg 500 shotgun could go for anywhere from $125 to $250.

Caveat - If you're talking about the Mossberg 500 Persuader with the extended mag tube then it might be worth closer to the $250 or a bit more...
