Thank you SK and Skein

I'll use the stones often. Now there is no excuse to only have a sharp knife, I will always have very sharp knives.
PS:
SK,
Glad you were able to catch an albacore yesterday. Wish the wind drift wasn't so bad and we could ahve caught more bottom fish. Oh well there is always next year.

Re: Thank you SK and Skein
OK GUYS,
I'm not throwing in the towel yet.
I need to get fuel Friday afternoon. I'm going to watch the SST and weather. I'm going to check in with Mel Wed. and see if he can look past the horrible tides this weekend.
That temp brake we sailed past Saturday is calling my name.
Think there might be one more trip before the boat goes to the doctors.

Re: Thank you SK and Skein
The crab I took home Sunday weren't all that good anyway. First one was great, small but hadshell and full. Seemed like the bigger the crab though the softer and less meat there was. I had to eat 4 for dinner (with corn and a salad) just to get filled up.
Might have to hold off on dropping the pots for a few weeks. Might as well go feeshing huh?

Re: Thank you SK and Skein
Just had a peak at the Sept 22 SST. Looks good to me. Boy did we blow it Saturday,
124.350 that was the temp brake we missed.
Forecast out to Friday 3 and 5, not too shabby.

Re: Thank you SK and Skein
C & E, You bet I do.
Hope you can go.
Keta, SkS, Mel?
Mel, did you make it out of the Dog House with those crab?
I had two smallish versions, they were Full, Tasted great. We also cooked the rest of the Bottom Fish from Saturday
I'd be interested if anyone had some good Bottom Fish recipes, I'm trying to watch my Girlish figure, fish and chips are not on my diet.
I have a freezer full to eat before next year.

Re: Thank you SK and Skein
Yeh, I'v been there. I had to put on a weather pruf door on mine last year, changed the cedar chips at the same time. Other than being a little cramped at times, it's not too bad.

At least we made it to the game Bernie. More than I can say for someone who slept though the whole thing from about the first quarter on.

Re: Thank you SK and Skein
Yeah but Mel you were the one robbing the nursery on those it-si-bit-si fish. And who hooked up fish when the rest of ya were holding the ball. That's right C&E brother.
So I got a little sick. Slept like Rumplestilkskin . At least my wife understands my addiction. No dog house here brother. Nice warm bed and a wonderful wife. Just dont ask me to fish in October. I'll be watching the kids. Err,... I mean taking the kids fishing like any manly father would.
Remodeling the dog house. now that's rich. he he he. Peace.
