We did manage to scratch out this little sailfish. Also found a nice school of 40 - 400 lb Yellowfin tuna, but they were not biting. We chased a GPS radio report from another boat and found the Tuna, but they had been on them for a couple hours with no hookups when we got there. We threw some live bait sets, and trolled some hoochies and squid flies thru the school without sucess. On the way back in we hooked up on a 300 lb class Marlin that threw the hook after about 2-3 jumps. Keith and I have the theory that Bruce didnt have the drag tight enough and thus farmed the fish. He denies this.
We are going back to the beach (early) for some more jack action tomrrow as that is pretty hot and everything offshore is unfourtanatly pretty slow this week.
