Aye and tis fine weather we have to enjoy it with... Not like the ides of November when it will likely be cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey

Now hold on a minute Mr. and Mrs Moderator... That isn't dirty talk, it's Pirate Talk and here is the translation... In the days of wooden ships and cannons it was necessary to stack cannon balls near the cannon to protect the ship or to dispatch another. They used to have a square made of brass that sat on the deck of the boat and allowed cannon balls to be stacked in pyrimid shape. It was called a monkey. When it got really cold like below freezing thermodynamics caused the metal to shrink and on especially cold days the shrinkage was sufficent to contract the brass monkey out from under the cannon balls causing the cannon balls to roll about loose on the deck. "Cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey." Anybody wanna lick am ice cold cannon ball? That's gotta be more intertaining than licking a flag pole in December
Rock and roll was born when  ...
