Default An Amazing Way To End A Season
Waterfowl season ended the 16th in most of Alaska, so I had plans to make the most of last weekend.

On Saturday I went out and got a tan facing into the sun thanks to the dang wind coming out of the valley behind me



I did manage to shoot my first triple ever on a flock of geese that busted me when I was trying to block the sun from my eyes!





Sunday I planned to take the dog out and hunt from shore, but my plans were suddenly changed with this little guy decided to make his debut two weeks early (I can't post enough of these to show how excited I am!)



I give you Hunter Alan. Born at 10:45 pm weighing 6lbs 6oz. My wife did an amazing job and was only in hard labor for 4 hours He needed a couple extra days in the hospital to work on feeding and jaundice, but he's home now

A Magical Ending and beginning.

Seems all the sunny weather has headed to SE AK. We need to learn to share the sun with SE AK every now and then.
