There's not much better than the loyalty and friendship of a dog. Congrats on your new Buddy!

I'll sure enough share in your happiness feisty my friend. Merry Christmas to you and Buddy both!

I think that God placed His special blessing of unconditional love into the hearts of our pets. They are here for a reason which is part of His grand plan. The love that a pet dog exhibits towards us is just a small reflection of the unconditional love that God has always lavished upon us. You can throw a dog out into the cold, deprive him of food, and even brutally beat him...and still he'll come up to you wagging his tail wanting to lick your hand. That's called unconditional love and forgiveness.

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ left the glory of Heaven and entered this sinful world in total humility. Despite showing us how to love one another, healing the sick, raising the dead, and wrapping His arms around the least of us (which includes all of us) He was condemned. Spat upon and scourged He suffered the worst of deaths nailed on a cross to pay the price for our selfish trangressions. That's a love that none of us will ever be able to comprehend until we meet Him face to face. The ultimate gift of eternal life to those who trust and follow Him. Glory be to our almighty Redeemer as we celebrate His coming!

I know exactly how you feel. We always have had larger dogs, Chesapeakes and Lab, but Bub was a rescue dog 4 1/2 lbs. of pure love. First chihuahua I've really ever have known. 10 or 11 years old.

Those little critters are true heartwarmers.I remember when I was going through my first divorce.I got a new kitten.Had the same results.

Now I have a rat terrier and she is a great spirit booster.Just dont need her for that much anymore.Cause life has been great for me since I met my wife 7 years ago.But shes sure good at it when I do..

So glad youve found the little boost you need.
We'll still keep you in our prayers too.

I have a little yorkie that brought me much support and companionship after my wife died. He is the best little guy. 5 pounds of pure devotion and unwavering love.

Congratulations for getting buddy and I think buddy is a lucky dog to have you as his pack leader.
