Default Buoy 41002 30ft waves

Just checked out the buoy 250nm S of Charleston SC  Looks like a good spot to see what hurricane Isabel is doing 30ft waves 65knt winds :depressed: CLKN7 is at Cape lookout and 41025 is around Hatteras. I always check the 46029 outside the CR thought I would check the east coast   Holy Cow!

Check out 40125, to the north. Anemometer got knocked out at about 2:30 am, last buoy report at 3 am, 30 ft wind waves & 44 ft combined seas. The plots paint an interesting picture over a very short time:

Maybe 41025 is a drifting buoy now

Looks like there is still 30ft waves and some huge wind gusts now

It is suppose to be a picture of Isabel from an oil tanker off the coast of North Carolina. I dont know much more than that since it is a second hand email.

allways thought how interesting it is, that when the east coast gets 30ft waves and 100mph winds it is a hurricane... when the oregon coast gets it?? it's just a good ol wind storm with some rain in it.
