OK duck hunter's, where's your dog's?
Rimrock got one going on upland dogs and I know some of you guy's got photo's too. Been years since I worked with a retriever and I like to watch a good one. Any of you guy;s got one you don't have picture's of and I don't have to go to far, I'll shoot them for you just to be able to do it. Perfer training setup's next spring or summer.
I don't have one photo of a retirever to put in here, help me out!
EDIT: Hey Bill I know you got some. remember that buddy of your's that came out to Sauvies Island years ago and took photo's at the Port-Van fun day? I still have the photo he took of Drifter!

Re: OK duck hunter's, where's your dog's?
The best pictures don't have to have piles of ducks in them! I like that picture with the blood on the face. Here's a couple of Vader:
I also love how, even when the hunters get bored, the dog keeps going:
Although, the day can be so slow, that the poor dog starts stacking up the cans...

Re: OK duck hunter's, where's your dog's?
Here's one of my old man on what turned out to be his last duck hunt. He's still kicking around the house, but gets very stiff if he goes too far, and like any good lab, he has no quit in him.

That pic. belongs on a calander. Go home and give that dog a big hug for all the work he has done for you and your friends.

Kind of non-traditional not to have a lab for duck hunting but Springers work

She isn't hunting in this pic just along for a boat ride.... she's 16 now and retired from retrieving anything except for dog treats.

Re: OK duck hunter's, where's your dog's?
Thanks for the comments on the photo compilation of my dogs.
Credit goes to my main hunting partner, Dave Ohlsen, who took the pics and created the image.
If you'd like to see more of his work, take a look here:
