Announcement ....
I am quite pleased to announce an addition to Team Swordfish. Popeye has requested that Corrirod join us as a member of the crew of Julie Rose III on our voyage of exploration this week. Rod accepted the short notice invite after getting his affairs on the beach in order. Dude, we are going to have a ball!!!!!
Rod Lee is an able bodied seaman and fisherman extraordinaire. This brings the crew to four as it was at the outset with our sword boat skipper, Popeye leading the charge. We will sail tomorrow and the excitement is building.
~Popeye, Sword boat Skipper and mentor.
~Pilar, Fisher, correspondent and dreamer.
~Ocean Blue, Adventurer and recent convert to the church of the bent rod.
~Skein, Retiree, Tunaholic and really nice guy.
~Corrirod, Commercial Salmon fisher, Tunaholic and lurker on Ifish.
Fortes Fortuna Juvat ... Fortune favors the bold.

Calm seas, tight lines and bent rods! Make sure you lube the hinges on Popeyes transom door, you're going to need it to work real well.

Re: Announcement ....
i think it is funny that everybody always says thank you to Pilar and other big players on the salty board. I hope you all know these guys are just dealers! They just have it so well covered no one can recognize it! I don't hink I have ever heard of any other junkies thanking their dealers for hooking them! Drugs, Tuna, it seem to all work the same way! They pull you in, tell you how wnderful everything is over here in salty town and then laugh as you go out and start cleaning out Englund's of all their merchandise. There is conspiracy going on here, they all work for Englund's!
At this point my information is limited but I have placed at least two of the top into their respective roles.
This is how I figure it;
Pilar- head of Tuna cartel
Keta- Hired thug (paid in fishing trips) to scare all of us not in business with the cartel to keep quiet if we figure out what is going on. Keta also serves as a scary story about killing and bloodshed for use while out camping or on Halloween.
Don't worry, I will find out the others roles within the cartel and let everyone know! The truth must be revealed! Even though I know this is a conspiracy I will still wish everyone a good trip and safe return and I cannot wait for the stories! Just like all the rest of the junkies, I am hooked also, so thanks for all the info and I cannot wait for next semester to start SWORDFISH 101.
I have to go answer the door, someone is knocking...has anyone seen Keta lately? Maybe I should act like I am not home.
Have fun everyone!

Re: Announcement ....
Ditto's from me too hope you find them and the catching is good I have been thinking of this trip ever since I caught wind of it. Haven't been to the boat for a couple of weeks and I'm having terrible withdrawals so I just want you guys to know that just thinking of this trip kinda keeps me there. Wish I could be there the night before just for the send off.
