Trifecta on the Black Rocket; 60" BUTT!!

WHat a day on the big "O". First out to the rock pile and tried a few different spots for halibut, caught a couple and then moved up to the "saddle" caught 10 or so sable fish (black cod) then the BIG ONE 60" of BUTT well over 100 lbs! (will post picture later. As we were packing it up we saw TUNA jumping out of the water a threw out some jigs on rods and BINGO FISH ON!!! Yes Tuna too! One Blue shark and we were headed back to Depoe Bay. The ocean was not for the faint of heart yesterday.

PILAR- Yes , John found his way to our PC home. We fished yesterday and spanked the Halibut. John got to drive the ROCKET as well as ride. You'll have to ask him what he thought of it. Hope you leg is better.

WhooHoo!! Puffin on the Black Rocket!!

One of the hardest fishing skipper s on one of the fastest craft fishing these waters. What an awsome combination.

One day soon I will have to ride the Rocket.

You're also welcome on the Rocket any time...although you may end up being crew for the 2 new rockets in production! (yes the Green Rocket and the Blue Rocket). Look for Puffin to be the part time CAptain of one (along with Pilar!)

So, the rumblings I have heard are true!! A couple more Big bad boats blazing on big blue. I would be honored to crew on a Rocket boat.
