Default Thank you, Puffin (aka John)

I'm new to Ifish, just joined a couple of days ago. (allthough I have monitered Ifish for about 8 or 9 months)
I have to thank Puffin for a great trip out Tuna fishing, about 4 weeks ago. We caught 23 tuna that day. It was absolutely one of the most exciting fishing trips I have ever been on. We had been using hand lines for the Tuna, after a while I asked Puffin if I could try a rod and reel. Puffin says go for it. Well in about 15 minutes or so my reel was screaming when that there tuna hit. I thought my line was going to disappear from the reel. I was in for a battle that I will probably never forget. After about 10 or so minutes the tuna finally came to the boat. I caught a couple that day with the rod and reel. If you happen to have an opportunity to fish with Puffin you will most certainly have a good time and be going with someone that know's the sea.
Thank you again Puffin. (Next time I see you Puffin I will give you a cuban cigar)
I have to get ready to go after Halibut again tomorrow, hope the seas are friendly in Newport. Thank you to all the Ifishers for having a great web site with all this great fishing stuff. Loosepin. (aka chuck)

Jon don't get around computers much--but he's a fishy SOB, and I am not just referring to his smell
I missed my chance to fish with him, but I look forward to the next opp!
Glad you had fun!!

Welcome aboard, Loosepin. Watch out around Puffin. Before you know it you will be buying aluminum in large 1/4" thick quantities.

That's my buddy, his name is big Jon.

The original Salty Dog and he has a heart of gold. There is no doubt that he is responsible for getting me started out on Big Blue and I will be forever grateful to him for that.

I will pass on your kind words.
