Default Tuna Reports from Coos ?

The gales outside blew away our tuna water in Northern CA - Eureka, Trinidad, Crescent City, Brookings. Looks like there is still a break outside of Coos Bay and a couple of us were thinking of making the trek tomorrow to fish Saturday - looks like southwesterlies with a chance of rain. Anyone up there who could give us the scoop on the longfins ? We would appreciate any reports. Thanks.

As a side note, we returned two weeks ago from a trek to Ensenada and it was a good time - highly recommended - but a long boat haul. Species list included albs, yellowtails, skippies, bluefin (2) and dorado.

Default Re: Tuna Reports from Coos ?

We were out a few weeks ago from Coos Bay and did well. The warm water looks like it has moved north though. The TUNA! should be there. We are planning a trip Sunday from Winchester Bay, it looks like a westerly run from there.
