UG's warm water surf pictures have got me yearning for another Mexico trip!

This sucker looks similar to a carp but is actually a true red snapper, fights like a salmon and tastes almost as good as Dorado.

Sea of Cortez......, Wow what a beautiful place to go fishing at. I fished the east cape near cabo san lucas 2 years back. Got a small 10 lb roosterfish (the first pic you see on this forum is a roosterfish) Such a beautiful fish. rented a Panga and got some Dorado, and a small striped (130lbs) marlin. I recommend that you take your boats down there, lauch it at lapaz, your sure to catch something!!
