I'm not gonna get too concerned yet. At least not until the guys throwing this out there learn how to do their math. The bill calls for $.005 per round. That's one half a cent for every round, not 5 cents.

I am concerned that major changes are in the future, but I don't think that the changes are as severe as some are trying to make them. Just my .

This should be really good for the reloading industry. It's pretty sad that they still haven't figured out that criminals commit the crimes not the law abiding citizens. A famous NRA saying slightly modified:

"When they outlaw non coded ammo, Only the outlaws will own non coded ammo"

Guys and gals its time to join or support some type of political action group that defends our gun/ hunt rights. I dont care which, ( NRA, Sportsmans Alliance, SCI, 2nd ammend foundation) which ever group you want. But they are going to have some battles ahead and we need to stand strong and help out how ever we can. If we sit back and let them continue to chisel away at our gun rights, our guns will be gone some day.
Just my worth.

Not necessarily, see I realy don't think the criminals care, and I don't think a "Class A" misdemeanor is much a deterant to somebody about to commit a felony. Why worry about coded ammo anyhow,it's not like the ammo will be regestered to the perp himself.Besides with proposed background checks for the purchase of ammo it's not like they're gonna beable to buy it themselves anyway.

your right they will just steal it and use yours to commit crimes. then the state police will be kicking down your door and tear gasing your family, because some criminal broke into your truck and stole your ammo.

I've been noticing a lot of talk about "Home Land security" lately I suspect there looking for more money, If they ban guns and tax the ammo to the point we can not afford it then they will really have set us up for any kind of invasion......this is becoming a sad state of affairs when the do gooders don't see it coming.....Ray

and after they get their way and all firearms owners are "public knowledge" they will know exactly where to get it

"We did indeed know much about your preparedness. We knew that probably every second home in your country contained firearms. We knew that your country actually had state championships for private citizens shooting military rifles. We were not fools to set foot in such quicksand." -- A Japanese Admiral 15 years after VJ day on why Japan didn't invade the US mainland after Pearl Harbor.

Can you tell us where you found that. They endorsed the other guy and were pretty clear where they stood on the Obama gun voting record they did not support him?

wow are you postive it was the National Rifle Assocation there is a fringe group that uses similar letters that they are a more liberal group that broke off the NRA? I think there is a site that can be confirmed on if I get time today I will look for it. Are you sure it was not AHSA they supported him. Other wise I honestly think it was a mis print but because the NRA was pretty clear on who they supported and I am pretty sure they were not giving any money towards his campaign.

if it is in a newspaper you must believe it. NRA did not support obama, a group using the n-r-a initials may have. but untill you show us the canceled check made out to the obama campaign from the NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION i doubt the newspaper

"Perps" can't buy guns either but yet they still have them to commit their crimes. The only people that will suffer from this are the people who follow the laws. That is most of us...........giving up our freedoms again.
