Default Flasher ?

I'm headed for Sekiu in a couple of weeks. We'll be dragging herring (RSK's and Plug Cut)for Coho's, behind divers and D'Riggers. My question is, what color and style flashers/dodgers do you all prefer?

Thanks in advance...

I personally never use a flasher. The diver and the action it imparts to the herring is enough for me.

I would drag a dodger with a herring fillet and hoochie or flashy tail for coho. Just seems to do the job year in year out. Ask keta he may have some other idea. now that he's the tuna tramp he may have forgotten about salmon fishing but I don't think so.

A fish behind a diver is deadly for Coho.
An Able & Al or Hotspot in Green or Prism works well from a downrigger but by far my most effective method for producing Kings is just a mooching (bannana) sinker with about a 6 foot 50# leader with a hard tied double rig and an RSK. I like Green, Red and green and clear RSKs.
Drop this slowly to the bottom and crank it up about 5 cranks, ocasionally dropping it back to the bottom.
I hope this helps...

I use a simple setup at Sekiu because there is so many fish I don't have to get fancy. A standard dodger/white or glow squid combo has produced for me every time. Later in the day I'll add a herring strip if the bite dies down. I set my riggers down to 60 and 90 and deeper to avoid some of the smaller surface fish.
