Live Report from Stoyjun Princess at the Pile

Just got a call from Stoyjun Princess (9:10 am). She's at the south end of the rockpile. She reports it is somewhat rough. There are no other boats there.

They just had a halibut come unbuttoned.

They suspicion the sea is starting to get rougher so they are prepared to reel in and head to port. But, only after "one more drift."

Back to the docks with one chicken - 40 incher after just two drifts. Had one on the minute they dropped down but it got off. Hooked up again on the second drift.

Headed back for fear of it getting worse then regretted it as they claimed it started to lay down a bit. But at 1:00, they reported the wind was beginning to blow pretty good.

They are headed for the bay to drop crab pots and will try to load up on fresh herring. They heard folks are doing well for herring.
