OK, you can refuse it but here it is. Like lotsa folks I have a hard time finding truly unique gifts with lasting value and appeal. That's especially hard this year being on a tight budget (again like everybody else) and I could use a few extra bucks. I'm not saying my artwork necessarily falls into that category, but I am a published artist whose work has sold for several hundred $. With that in mind I'm offering this colored pencil steelhead drawing I posted recently for $75 plus shipping (if you don't live close enough to meet for a beer). That's a pretty good deal on a unique gift for a fisherman that has some real investment value. Also I'm posting this here on the fly forum first to give you guys a shot at it before I put it on the main forum. Also, from a collector's point of view it has some value in that it's only the 2nd piece I've produced after a 10 year hiatus in artwork.

Unbelievable talent. I would love to get my hands on one AND my parents live in Washougal (on the river in a GREAT hole). One more thing Silverfly, I work for Xerox and have tons of production gear at my disposal. If you ever wanted to do a limited run of prints I would be more than willing to help you out. One more thing, I assume these are not framed but on some sort of card stock? PM me if you wanna talk.

Sorry nookslayer but it looks like it just sold via PM. Thank you though. And yes, I would be interested in getting some help with prints, - especially if there is lots of interest in a particular piece. Gee maybe we'll have to meet up at your folks sometime to discuss "business"

OK, here's the next piece that I may be putting up. I had this one framed at Trail's End Gallery. They really do top notch work and have done most of the framing for NW Steelheader and Oregon Trout prints in the past. The frame alone is worth $100. It doesn't show well in the pic I took, but the frame is cherry wood and is double matted in olive green with sky blue trim to pick up the colors in the drawing.

Silverfish, I am all about "discussing business" and the folks are in AZ for the winter so I have full access. Let me know when and we can make that happen. Haven't paid much attention to the Shoug this year, maybe I need to!
