Default P-nuts wanted

Anyone who catches a p-nut tuna of the 2 to 4 pound size in the next week or so, please ice carefully and contact me. The appearance, especially the tail, is very important so spike the fish and bleed it by cutting the gills not the lateral line.

I would like to use the little fish for billfish bait on the upcoming swordfish expedition.

Your help would be greatly appreciated by the members of Team Swordfish. Thank you Bill Monroe for your contribution last weekend.

Thanking you in advance....

John,

Ya might want to mention that if any of the salmon fishermen get inso some Pacific Mackrel you would like a dozen or so.

Ditto on the Macks....how about getting some frozen macks from an Asian grocery store? I have a source; let me know if you're interested.

Having fished for bill fish twice in hawaii both time the skipper used fresh live bait so if someone catches one maybe they should put it in a live well. I guess you make do with the best you can.
ps I dont know if live is legal something about transporting fish is illegal not sure. Going out monday for tuna well see what happens.

Hey Choo (gezundheit), I believe the prohibition is against transporting live bait from it's "normal" habitat, into a different habitat. The intent is to prevent things like the disaster at Diamond Lake, where folks brought non-native tui chubs for bait, and now they have invaded the lake and completely out-competed all the native fish. So just don't release your live albacore into the McKenzie River.
