That sale has developed quite a following...I work near Kershaw in Tualatin and don't go anymore due to the huge lines. I fugure my time is worth more that the few bucks I'll save.

I suppose if you got there at 5am you would be ok?

Talking Re: Kershaw Sale

I know don't go.

It was about a 1 1/2hr wait about 12:30 today. And it was interesting to look at all the knives. I spent way to much money. The combat knives where way out of my price range starting about $90. Also the chef knives $190 but they sure like the feel.

I am probably going to be inline next year also.

I was there at 07:15 on Friday. They opened the doors at 8:00 and I didn't get in until a bit after 10:00. They were already out of anything I wanted. I went Saturday last year and found about the same thing by the time I got in.

A guy in line said that people start pitching tents and lining up 2 day in advance. They are likely buying large volumes of knives and if you look at ebay I am guessing you will see alot of northwest sellers.

Anyway there are a few poket knives that make good stocking stuffers and some nice Shun kitchen knifes still around. I was hoping to get a good hunting knife and a good tactical assisted opening knife. The hunting stuff had already been hit and the ZT I was looking at was still over priced IMHO. All in all it's an interesting experiecne. One thing for sure if you have a problem with a Kershaw product they will certainly take care of you....
