Once upon a time, there was a little old lady named AuntyM (OK, not little and not that old) who had a nephew named RJ. RJ was a mean and evil relative who taunted AuntyM year after year with tales of tuna slaughters. Not only did he tell her these tall tales, he sent digital pictures! Poor AuntyM. :depressed:
AuntyM is a very caring and kind person. AuntyM downplays her shrimping adventures so as not to be mean to RJ. She makes sure RJ gets a good portion of Hood Canal spotted shrimp for his birthday. Yes ladies and gentlemen, she sends him her precious shrimp!
Alas, RJ has never sent tuna for AuntyM's pleasure. She is very sad. Year after year she pines away for a taste of this fresh tuna. She dreams that perhaps some some Knight in shining armor (or maybe a blue Ford pickup) will take pity on her and deliver to her, some tasty tuna!
One day, while she is sitting in her rocking chair, knitting, (or maybe at the kitchen counter, tying leaders) the telephone rings. There is a voice coming over the line asking if this is AuntyM. She says "Yes, this is she". Who could this person be that is calling AuntyM? Her heart flutters a little.
He identifies himself. It is none other than her Knight in shining armor! It's Keta! He says he just caught some tuna the day before and would she like some? YES! YES! The good Knight Keta has saved AuntyM from a life of eating salmon and steelhead! I WILL get to taste fresh tuna!
AuntyM rushed out to meet the Knight Keta who had driven all the way here from Oregon and was very impressed! He was waiting with a huge ice chest full of the fresh delicacy! Already cut up and bagged for her pleasure! They departed far too quickly in AuntyM's opinion, but Knight Keta had to be on his way to rescue other damsels in distress. What a wonderful thing. Now AuntyM can live happily ever after. Thanks Keta! It was delicious!
And RJ....
