Thursday Tuna how about it -WP and gang?

Hey gang......Look good for a TUNA try on Thursday....Anybody in? I'll be the scout boat for the pack. Would like to run with two or three others. Will be checking posts later today and plan on launching from Depoe at 6AM. LETS GET'EM!!

I'm in and will depart as soon as my crew arrives. Plan A is 5:30 departure.
I will arrive late this afternoon and moore on Dock #1 by the Coast Guard shack.
Come by and say hi if you are around.

The latest SST shows a couple of good temp breaks. One at about 44 125 and another just inside 44 126. I hope it pushes in and that the fish are there. Gotta get this first time stuff over and done with.
I want to see what my tote looks like filled up with Tuna blood...

The Sherry Marie will be there. We plan on leaving 5:30 After last weeks run we are planning for a long ride. We will be in the parking lot this PM late.

I have better numbers from yesterdays best Terafin shot.
I printed it off and will have it with me.
Best guess I have is to start about 44 55, 124 35 and work towards 45 05, 124 40
I am getting a late start heading towards the beach. Top it off with the fact that I have to detour by Sportscraft to get more oil.
I'll still get there and at least the ramp won't be crowded

My crew should be early if not on time and I plan to depart about 5:30 a.m. Seas permitting.
I sure am glad a few of you seasoned Tuna pros are making the effort. Between us we will find the fish if it is possible.
My boat isn't the fastest in the fleet but she sure has been lucky.
Lets Find em' and Grind em' :grin:

I've got a lead on cheap ice

but we will need at least two to 4 people and maybe a truck.
We can meet in the Depoe Bay Parking Lot tonight.

Planning on leaving Depoe Bay around 530 assuming I can finish off some loose ends at home and the forecast stays constant or better.........

Well, I am about 30 minutes from heading to the beach. Reports are that it is a bit lumpy. I hope it lays down for us. I'll be there to put my hairy eyeball on it in any case...

Our boat is the Sherry Marie a 24 Sea Sport.
I am getting ready to leave work now. Can't get down to the parking Lot till Dark thirty as I have some errands before leaving town. Would love to make the ice run with you but I don't know when we will be arriving so don't wait for us. A new temp shot was just posted by coast watch. The #s you are looking at look good for tomorrow... The excitement is building.

Well, I am officially out for tomorrow at Depoe. My crew has canceled due to illness, that's been the story of my season. Oh well, next chance for me will be Saturday.

I wish all of you well tomorrow, wish I could sail with you. Be careful and I hope you catch some good fish.

I'm in for Saturday if the weather holds. The current forcast is looking pretty questionable at best. So we'll see.

To tomorrows fleet, good luck. I may run down to the docks tomorrow morning early to wish ya'll well and say hi before ya'll leave.

Just an FYI for anyone heading down tonight...in case you haven't left yet. :grin:

Current restriction on the Depoe Bay Bar is at 16'. Marine forcast for tomorrow doesn't look TOO bad. I just spoke with the Coasties here and they'll be going out to check the status at about 05:15-05:30 tomorrow...

I think that I am still in, however my friends wife might have Pneumonia? She has a doctor's appointment later today, and she was one of the crew. So she's out for sure. Waiting to see if he will be able to leave her, they both want to go really badly.

That would open up room for one or two others if someone is interested? Post up or e-mail @ GRich912@aol.com if interested.

Wp are you still in after today's bar closure?

Will check the Computer later today.

Ray, what SST are you looking at? I can't find a good current picture with the cloud cover, Terrifin or Coast Watch.
