What's the word on the Halibut??

Just wondering if the quota has been met? Anybody have any info or links to pass along to someone that don't know, (like myself)

There was 86,000lbs left on the quota for the Aug. all depth season. That was before last Friday's two day opener. Very few boats were fishing halibut, only one charter on the ranch on Sat. A few boats on the pile. The fishery will go all the way to the end, Oct. 31, I think. I don't think there is any way the quota will be caught this year.

TWB, ODFW fish checkers were calling it the endless season last weekend.
