Default Do they make a wireless trailcam?

What I am wondering is does anyone make a trailcam that uses wireless to transmit the pics 100 yards or so to a storage device? I don't mean wireless as in cell phone just a simple data transfer over the air could be on just about any frequency the fcc allows for that kind of thing? The reason I ask is I see all these trailcam stolen threads on this and other sites. If you had a small receiver with data storage that could be hidden 100 yards away or more you would solve two things. 1.) You wouldn't have to mess directly with your trailcam when you wanted to check your pics and 2.) Anyone who stole it would never find the receiver and you would have pics of them. So has anyone come out with something like this?

All I know of is the smart scouter. it sends the pics to a satellite and you can check them from anywhere you can get an internet connection.

Yep, the only one I know of is the one that sends the pic to your cell phone and email. It is $650 or I would be tempted to buy it simply to try and catch the people who just stole mine.

You got me wondering and after a qwik search I found this. http://www.buckmasters.com/bm/Resour...5/Default.aspx

It says it can send up to a couple miles back to your computer. They range in prices from $500 and up, but how cool would it be to watch your camera live basically. The cameras also act like repeaters for other cameras you might add later. If you could ensure they were safe these would be great!

Up to two miles is the transmit range so they are probably using GMRS radios because they can use them as repeaters which means they couldn't be using FRS radios. Like any technology give it two to five years and the cost will be half or less of what it is now. Those are some cool units but they cost a lot more than what I could afford. When the technology costs come down to about what regular trailcams are now I would definitely get one if they made a remote collection and camera combo.
