Default Columbia River Ducks

I've hunted the lower Columbia in the Astoria area as well as the upper part near Boardman. Now that I have the new Willie with the boat blind, I'm looking to broaden my horizons in order to put it to better use. One area thats always intrigued me is between Portland and Clatskinie. There are a ton of spots that look good on the map. Island, sloughs, etc. Anybody have consistently decent results in that are of the river? Can anyone give me a starting point? Any info is greatly apprecaited.

Yes and now no. There have been a public 1000 acres refuge and a private 2000 acre hunting facility go into operation below this area in the last 2 years and it is decimating the hunting oportunities in this area. The birds are using this area to roost and flying back down to feed in the am. So, that's what I have observed.
