If you talk to tech support at Lowrance, they will exchange your MapQuest5 for MapQuest6 for $69.00. Give it a try.

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helv">MapCreate has no depth contoures, Navionics has no information outside of the navagateable (sp) rivers, so if you fish lakes it has no information. Navionics you get what you pay for and that is it. MapCreate you can create as many custom maps as you want for any area of the U.S. The tech guy said they are toying with the idea that MapCreate 7 will have contour lines and depth soundings. If I only fished the columbia, ocean, and bays Navionics would be the only way to go.

I used to have a Navionics chart for the Columbia Entrance and it was great. When my Lowrance crashed, I lost the program. I am thinking about getting another one.

Thanks f_o and TV, might just hold out a bit longer before I make the purchase and upgrade.
