Use a S.O.S. pad on your cork, and it will look like new!

Just be gentle!

Well I'm not a sponser so I guess I'll keep this kinda vauge
,but am in the window blind business where we clean widow treatments with an ultrasonic cleaning tank and threw a few rods in the tank just to see what would happen,as far as cleaning the rod with glass cleaner I can't recomend anything better but as far as the grips go ultrasonic cleansing is the way to go they come out like new, works wonders on golf clubs too.

A little dawn on the handle with hot water and a sponge. a little car cleaner wax on the rod...she'll look just like new! And the wax lets you wash off scales and egg goo more easily.

Cures are corrosive and break components down. Just a heads up. Might want to clean your rods if you want them to last longer

Tuna Blood

I wash them down with fresh water and let them dry off before putting them away.

Diaper Wipes. I have 2 little boys and we have diaper wipes on levels of the house. I have been using these things for everything. They clean rods, reels, spills and the occasional baby bottom.
