I was onboard Miss B today with Mr. Fisherman, Hoggemin and Jimmy Carl Black. The bar was snotty by most boats standards, but Miss B didn't even break stride. (She's beautiful and the most seaworthy yacht I've ever been on.) The further west we went, the rougher it got. At about 10 miles out Cap'n Mel wheeled Miss B around and headed back, we were starting to get the crap beat out of us. (Nary a complaint from the crew).
Coho fishing was hot close the the CR buoy, we picked up 7 (I think) keepers quickly. Fished inside later on and picked up another.
I salute Cap'n Mel and his fine ship. Had a great and memorable time. These were the roughest seas I've ever been in but I didn't feel threatened at any time. A tribute to the captain and Miss B. We'll get em next time, Mel.
