bleach bottles, paint a couple black slashes on each side. gives you a snow goose decoy. then a piece of steel rod through it for a stake. not very compact or effective, but they work as fillers in a spread like rags

spend the money on real decoys geese are smart and you are not going to get them into your spread of milk jugs when the guy 400 yards away has DSD's jump on daves web site and get your self some good decoys

If you don't have the cash for the DSD's green head gear make good looking deks for half the cost, but you won't be able to talk to the maker of ghg on IFISH

Im in grad school and I cant afford em. BUT....if your pinch your pennys and take c-mas money, birthday money, a portion of your pay check, put all loose change in a mason jar, etc. It is amazing how quickly the funds show up when you want something bad enough. Or if you have hunting buddies or family that are interested in splitting decoys with you, it doesnt seem like such a bad deal at all. Then after a few years you have more decoys than you know what to do with.

Ok back on topic....

Shad: I would highly not recommend milk jugs. Even Avery's would be better than milk jugs!!

If you can't afford DSD's, FA makes a decent lesser also.
