Looking for Running Mates out of Port Orford

We will be in Port Orford from 8-23 thru Labor Day weekend for vacation on the Big Blue.
I'll be taking Tuna gear, Halibut, Chinook, Bottom fishing and Dive gear (diving's awesome).
Will target what options the weather gives us. Running Mate boats would be good for saftey in numbers.
Let me know if you are interested and we can figure out the details.

I'm tentatively planning on going Fri and Sat. My crew may be pukers though, (In-laws)...so I don't know if we'll be able to chase tuna...at least on Friday. If they turn out to be pukers, I may be able to hook-up up w/a more salty crew for Saturday. (for some reason, pukers never seem to want to go out the next day).

I'll plan on hitting the launch at or just before daylight, and typically monitor vhf 19.

Mello-Yello,
because of prior obligations we wont be leaving the house until Saturday morning. We will be available bright and early Sunday morning if you are still around. Maybe you'll get into the Tuna on Saturday and HAVE to go again Sunday!?

Hey mello what time you heading out of PO? Let me know I am tentativly going on friday, depending on weather. Tuna looks to be a little farther then I want to go right now. but i'm all game for some hali's!

I'll be in Port Orford the 27th thru labor day.
I plan on making a run Friday and Saturday for whatever the sea permits. I would be happy to join you. I've fished the PO reef a bunch but have not made it out for Hali's. I fished tuna when I was stationed in Calif but we used live bait. It doesn't quite conjur up the images I picture when reading the descriptions of catching one up here.

Tentatively, I'll be at the boat sling either at daylight, or shortly before...The SST's are looking awfully good. Flat seas could see me run a little further west for bullets...we'll see.

Sunday could be a possibility if the seas cooperate. This will likely be my last chance at tuna, unless they close the woods before next Saturday...I've got a date w/an elk....
